Hydrochloric Acid (5L)

Hydrochloric (muriatic) acid used to reduce high pH and total alkalinity in pool water. Balanced pH keeps chlorine working effectively and stops scale and cloudy water. Add it when a test shows pH or alkalinity is too high, dosing gradually with the pump running and retesting before adding more. It is a strong acid, so handle with care, store safely and never mix with other chemicals.
